On 13 September 2024, Silpakorn International Centre held the MOU signing ceremony between Silpakorn University and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) at Office of the President, Silpakorn University (Talingchan campus). The ceremony was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Tanasait Ngawhirunpat, President of Silpakorn University, and Dr. Thanatorn Jiarakun, Dean of Faculty of Decorative Arts, who signed the MOU along with Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Rusmadiah Anwar, Dean (Academic & International) of College of Creative Arts, representing UiTM. A special lecture was also delivered to graduate and doctoral students in Design Arts at Silpakorn International Centre.
Silpakorn University has initiated and established this MOU with UiTM since 2003, and this signing ceremony marks a three-year renewal of the MOU. The collaboration aims to promote mutual understanding in academic fields, culture, scientific concepts, art, and personnel exchange.
