On Tuesday, 22 October 2024, Professor Dr. Tanasait Ngawhirunpat, President of Silpakorn University, together with Dr. Parinya Roonpho, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Vichaya Mukdamanee, Dean of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Associate Professor Arwin Intrungsi, Dean of the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Assistant Professor Wootichai Lertsatakit, Dean of the Faculty of Music, Assistant Professor Dr. Veerawat Sirivesmas, Deputy Dean of Research and International Affairs of the Faculty of Decorative Arts, and Professor Dr. Chaiyosh Isavorapant, Faculty Member of the Department of Art Theory, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, warmly welcomed the President, Vice President for International Affairs, and Mr. Ryusuke Kido from Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan.
The meeting, held in Room 414, 4th Floor, Office of the President, Taling Chan Campus, aimed to discuss potential areas of collaboration in the future. Key topics included plans for joint academic programs, a collaborative Summer School project, and furthering the existing partnership between the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts and Tokyo University of the Arts. The partnership has included initiatives such as the Double Degree program and other cooperative projects.
