On Thursday, 6 March 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Non Khuncumchoo, Vice President for Planning and Development; Asst. Prof. Dr. Veerawat Sirivesmas, Deputy Dean for Research and International Affairs; Asst. Prof. Wootichai Lertsatakit, Dean for Faculty of Music; Mr. Chanutr Techatananan, Deputy Dean for International Affairs and Mr. Damrih Banawitayakit, faculty member of Faculty of Music, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Zhang Jie, Vice President; Mr. Wang Xiaojun, Dean of the School of Music; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yu Rui, Director of the Office ofInternational Exchange and Cooperation, Nanjing University of the Arts. The meeting took place at Room 414, 4th Floor, Office of the President, Taling Chan Campus, focusing on fostering academic collaboration and exchange programs between the two institutions.
The visit aimed to introduce Nanjing University of the Arts’s academic programs, discuss the exchange of faculty, staff, scholars, students and explore possibilities for collaborative research and curriculum development. Both universities also reviewed their existing academic cooperation agreement and considered renewing and expanding their partnership.
Since establishing their academic partnership in 2020, Silpakorn University and Nanjing University of the Arts have played a pivotal role in promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between Thailand and China. This visit marks another significant step toward strengthening ties and advancing mutual academic and artistic endeavors.
